2019 Candlelight 12 Hour – Overnight Ultra and Relays @ EquiCenter

Run as many laps/miles as you can in 12 hours. One Lap is about about 1.07 miles long. Race course is mix of cross country, paved and unpaved surfaces but mostly cross country type of surface with rolling hills. Expect occasional horse-shoe made and tire track divots.

Not ready to go in circles for 12 hour yet? No problem! We are introducing relay option for CandleLight 12 Hour.

ROCovery 5K & X-Challenge @ Mendon Ponds - Stewart Lodge

Come walk or run either a 5K road course or 5K trail course.

The X-Challenge will take place for those running on the trail and will offer an X-tra challenge. Anyone up for the challenge and who would like to participate in the X-Challenge, will complete push-ups, air squats and burpees AT EACH MILE (push-ups at mile one, air squats at mile two, and burpees at mile three). The total amount of push-ups, air squats and burpees will be scaled based on the total amount with the total number being determined by the total amount of money raised for the event.

Your participation in the event helps raise awareness and provide hope in recovery to the thousands of Rochester residents and their families who are battling addiction. In addition, funds raised will support the programs that ROCovery provides free of charge that are vital and life saving to our over 3,000 members and their family members.

50 Mile starts at 7:30AM
50 Mile early starts at 6:30AM
50Km starts at 10:00AM
25Km starts at 1:00PM
Finish closes at: 7:30PM

50 Mile – Run one big road loop around the most beautiful Finger Lake in Western New York. The course is mostly flat to rolling roads with several major climbs, including locally-famous Bopple Hill.

50K – Run point-to-point over the final 31 miles of the 50 Mile route. With significantly less climbing and descending than the first 19 miles of the 50 Mile route, the 50K is more friendly for first-time ultra runners and a logical step up from the marathon.

25Km – Not ready to run ultra yet? Try 25Km instead! Run point-to-point over the final 14.5 miles of the 50 Mile/50 Km route after running short out-and-back starting on and using South Lake road. Time limit is 6 1/2 hours. Minimum average speed to complete 25Km race is 2.07 miles per hour or 25 minutes per mile. Please note that 25Km race won’t allow pacers and handlers.
