The Fight For Air Climb is one of the signature fundraising events of the American Lung Association. This year we will climb 26 floors and approximately 534 steps at The Metropolitan in downtown Rochester. Whether you are climbing as a part of a healthy lifestyle, to beat your previous time or in honor of all those who are affected by lung disease, you will achieve a sense of personal accomplishment as you reach the top of the building and the height of your fundraising potential. Every step you take moves us forward in our fight for healthy lungs and clean air. Registration is $35 and each participant commits to raising at least $100 to support the American Lung Association’s mission to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease.

A Local Thanksgiving Day Classic 4.4 Mile Race / 2.5 Mile Fun Run Join us to celebrate the 46th running of the Webster Turkey Trot!! This 46 year old tradition of Webster, NY was started by Jim May, former English Teacher, in Webster. Jim May started this event as a practice run for his Cross Country Team, as a way for them to get a workout on Thanksgiving Day. As the years progressed, the event grew to what it is today. Jim May’s former Cross Country Runner, Dave Boutillier, took over the reigns of the race in the late 90?s under his Race Directing Company, YellowJacket Racing. Each year this race reminds Dave and many other former Webster residents of his youth and running the event annually. This year's event will be capped at 4,572 participants!
