Part of the Rochester Regional Health Flower City Challenge weekend of events.



The Rochester Regional Health Flower City Challenge is a series of events taking place in Rochester, NY on the weekend of April 21 & 22, 2018.  This is a participatory and spectator friendly event that showcases the culture, history, neighborhoods and river ways of Rochester, NY.  Over these two days there will be 4 events available to the public.  On April 21st there is the Duathlon or Triathlon and on April 22nd there is the Half Marathon or 5K.   


Participants in the Half Marathon and Family 5K run will take runners through various parts of the City of Rochester to showcase some of our hidden treasures.  They will wind through historic downtown streets and neighborhoods, passing by the Susan B. Anthony House and the George Eastman House.  Taking runners through the East Avenue, Park Avenue and Highland Park neighborhoods and through Mt. Hope Cemetery, passing by the Ford Street Bridge before finishing at the Blue Cross Arena.
