Fast, fairly flat  certified USATF 5K course through the village of Waterloo, NY. Rsace starts and ends at Coughlin Stadium, Waterloo High School, Waterloo, NY.

Register by May 12, 2018 and pay only $20.00 and a guaranteed race shirt. Thereafter, $25.00. 

Awards: Overall male and female race winners will each receive $100.00. Award shirts to the top three finishers in each age group. New this year a commemerative bottle of Swedish Hill riesling to age group winners ages 25 and above. Post race refreshments.

This event along the Genesee Riverway Trail through Maplewood Rose Garden benefits the students at Rochester School for the Deaf (RSD).

The race starts on the school's campus (1545 St. Paul St, 14621), rambles across the Driving Park Bridge and along the Genesee Riverway Trail until it winds around the Maplewood Rose Garden neighborhood and back to the RSD campus. Medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place runners (men, women and children) in 10-year age categories. Great, family-friendly reception follows with plenty of free food, children's games & prizes, dunk tank and bounce house, live music by Free Agent, and raffle prizes for participants.

Greece Gauntlet Obstacle Course Mud Run

The 4th annual Greece Gauntlet is a 5k obstacle course challenge designed to test your all-around strength, stamina, mental grit and camaraderie. The Gauntlet is a tough and challenging course but offers family friendly options from many of the extreme obstacle races. This 5K layout winds around the many acres of natural terrain around the Greece Arcadia campus in which you'll encounter many natural and man-made obstacles. With over 15 obstacles and plenty of mud, The Greece Gauntlet will push you to the limit.

The Greece Gauntlet is not a race but a challenge. At the end of the Gauntlet you will get the bragging rights, feel the pride of success, and hopefully meet some new friends. This is a great excuse to get all of your friends together and start a fun tradition.

 

The Greece Gauntlet is a family-friendly event. Children are welcome to participate under the supervision of their Guardian.

Beat Brain Cancer 5k and 1 Mile Walk June 9th, 2018

In memory of Desiree Stockholm.  This is a fast flat course through the village of East Rochester. It is very well marked with 2 water stops and tons of support from the residents of the village. RH Kicking Hunger 5K

The Henrietta Recreation Center, located at 605 Calkins Road, and Calkins Road Park will serve as the main sites for the start and finish of this run/walk. The course will take participants through the park, as well as local neigborhoods off of Calkins Road. Registration for this race will be available online and through the mail (registration will open up Spring 2018). This event is to benefit the Kicking Hunger Program started by Rush-Henrietta CSD staff to combat the issue of hunger in the Henrietta community. 100% of net proceeds will go to this cause. The main focus of this program is to help families with food shortages during the summer months when free/reduced breakfast and lunch is not available for local students through school. The Henrietta Recreation Center, Rush-Henrietta Rotary, RHAFT (Rush-Henrietta Area Food Terminal), and the Kicking Hunger Program (affiliated with RHCSD) are all involved in the planning of this community event.

Steve's 5k to Run Down Cancer

For its 10th year, Pound the Ground challendges you through the errain of Mendon Ponds Park- and every step you take supports the men, women, an dfamilies served by Veterans Outreach Center of Rochester. Choose from one of our USATF certified road courses for 5k or 10k runners, or a 5k walk along the course trhough the beautiful park grounds.

 

Runners who are veterans or active duty are encouraged to join the 5k Branch Battle competition. The winning branch will be recognized on the Golden Boot Award, kept on display at VOC.

Crosswinds 5K

This 5K Run/Walk is a community outreach event to benefit the Patient Special Needs Fund of the Sands Cancer Center at UR Medicine Thompson Health in Canandaigua, NY. This fund is used to help cancer patients pay for supplies and procedures that are not covered by health insurance; thus improving their quality of life.

The Race starts at Crosswinds Wesleyan church on Middle Cheshire Rd, runners will head north to Bristol St, turn right to South Pearl St, turn right to Parrish Rd, turn left and immediate right onto  West Lake Rd, turn Right on Peg Rayburn Way, right on Middle Cheshire Rd and left into the church parking lot.

Saftey will be provided by the Canandaigua Police Dept., Ontario County Sheriff, volunteer road marshalls and volunteer medical staff.

A water stop will be provided at the halfway point and water with refreshments will be available at the finish line
