Running to Remember

Sun. 16 Sep, 2018 3:00 pm

A 5k to honor local children who have passed away.  it was started in memory of Dante Mastrosimone, who died at 5 years old from brain cancer.  through the years, we have added more local children:  Ashley Nagel, Lizzy Spencer, Christie Simonetti, Amanda Conrow, Courtney Wagner, Stella and Luca Gagliano, Grace Espisito, and Lydia Tata.  The proceeds go to Golisano Childrens Hospital, CURE, and other charities of the families choice.  It is a very easy route, certified 5k course through Mendon Ponds Park.  We let paper lanterns go for each child at the end of the race. We decorate the route with poster dedicated to each child.  Please help us increase awareness by posting on your website,
