The event will also include a one-mile family fun walk. The run will include official timing and scoring, with prizes for the top male, female, and youth winners. Costumes are encouraged! Prizes will also be awarded for best adult, child, and group costume. Use the code WICKEDFUN to save $5 on your registration fee!
The 50th Anniversary of the Lake Placid Classic Half Marathon and 10K will be held Saturday, October 9, 2021.
Originally started in 1970 as a marathon run from Paul Smiths to Lake Placid, this family friendly race has evolved into a beloved annual event featuring the beautiful Olympic Village of Lake Placid and some of the most breathtaking fall scenery in the Adirondacks.
Best of all, proceeds are donated to local youth organizations that are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of local young people.
It’s why we run!
