Start off your Memorial Day weekend on the right foot with a 10k or 25k trail run at RMSC Cumming Nature Center! Frost Town Trail Fest is a trail race presented by Ironwood Adventure Works that explores some of the best terrain the Bristol Hills has to offer.
25k Trail Run | 9am
The challenging 25k course is a single loop that circumnavigates both the Cumming Nature Center and an adjacent property managed by The Nature Conservancy. A steep winding ascent and then descent through historic logging roads initiate 25k runners to this stout cross terrain trail challenge. Next, after traversing through the well-tended Cumming Nature Center Trail system, runners take the trail less traveled across the rugged Rattlesnake Hill ridgeline east of Lake Honeoye. Aid stations will be available at approximately 4 mile intervals for a total of three support stations on the course.
10k Trail Run | 10am
For a quicker and less remote challenge, the 10k course covers the best of the Cumming Nature Center trail system. Less elevation gain and a more runnable course make this a great first 10k or a fast trail loop for seasoned trail runners.
Kids Fun Run | 12pm
Bring your junior trail runners along for a free 1.5 mile kids fun run! To participate, just show up with a parent between 11am and 11:45am to get your race bib. See the registration page for details!
The Heritage Hero is a walk, 5K and 10K race that supports people with developmental disabilities, children and seniors through the work of Heritage Christian Services.
Both events start and end inside Seabreeze Amusement Park.
