Barbecue Bash Quarters

This unique lapped event gives racers the chance to do any number of quarters of a marathon up to a full marathon. The generous 7-hour cutoff is perfect for those who need extra time at shorter than marathon distance and for those who aren’t quite certain they can do 26.2 in more customary cut-off times. Designed with the idea of giving folks the flexibility to try something they aren’t sure they can do, if you sign up for more quarters than you actually accomplish on race day, you do not earn a DNF (did not finish); instead, you get dropped down to the next lower number of quarters you did complete. Unless you fail to complete a single 6.55-mile lap within seven hours, you will get a finishing medal.

Register by the shirt cutoff to get the shirt of your size choice. Those missing the ordering cut-off may be given an alternate gift as a keepsake. After the race, enjoy food by Texas Barbecue Joint and more. Despite the main edible in barbecue being meat, there will be options for vegans and vegetarians!
