Hunger is Real – The 2021 East Ave Grocery Run is Virtual for now!

While we hope to have a live event this fall, at this point the event will be virtual. Should the decision be made to have a limited-participation live event, pre-registered participants will be given the live participation option on a first-come, first-served basis, according to the date you registered. We will stay in touch as plans evolve. Thank you for your loyal support and understanding!

And…Thanks to our generous sponsors, participants, donors and volunteers, the 2020 Virtual East Avenue Grocery Run raised more than $55,000 for Rochester-area food pantries. This money will provide nutritious meals to thousands of hungry seniors, children and families. in our community.  We are looking forward to another awesome Grocery Run on the first weekend in November, 2021. Check this page, like us on Facebook and follow eastavenuegroceryrun on Instagram – so you’ll be the first to know details as they develop! Thank you!

Please consider making a donation to help Rochester-area food pantries and emergency meal programs.

”Giving back to the Rochester community is a core value of SMP. Since 2013, our support of the East Avenue Grocery Run has exemplified our People First philosophy. Not only does the event raise funds for an honorable and deserving cause, it provides a fun, family friendly atmosphere and is extremely well organized. Sponsoring the Boogie for Broccoli children’s fun run enables SMP to promote physical activity and social consciousness among Rochester-area youth. Each year it is a pleasure to work with the East Avenue Grocery Run committee to support hunger-relief programs in our region.”
