New York Adult & Teen Challenge is a Christian residential discipleship program that helps men and women who struggle with life-controlling issues. NYATC exists for individuals to experience freedom from addiction by helping them to KNOW Christ, GROW in Christ, SERVE Christ, and SHARE what Christ has done for them.
There are currently five campuses across New York in Rochester, Buffalo, Syracuse, Albany, and Long Island that allow us to serve the entire state.
Our organization is always looking for ways to promote community involvement and interaction while raising necessary funds for the ministry. Unfortunately, recovery treatment at NYATC is not supported by insurance providers or government funding, so the programs rely on donations from supporters and events we host. The first annual NYATC 5K – Run/Walk for Recovery will be held on Saturday, June 10th, 2023. Participants will have the option to run or walk a traditional 5K. The cost to participate will be $35. Participants will also have the opportunity to get their friends and family involved with peer-to-peer fundraising. Various prizes will be awarded based on the amount of money each person raises.
All of the finances raised for this race go to supporting the function of this ministry and sponsoring the next individual coming into the program.
