The Runnin’ of the Green Race is the traditional kickoff event for the Rochester Runner of the Year (RROY) competition. Due to the pandemic, again this year the Runnin’ of the Green was run virtually and won’t count towards the RROY. However, the GRTC wanted to support the race as a member of the RROY family and so it put on an incentive event. Any GRTC member who ran the virtual Runnin’, or posted a picture while in their Runnin’ shirt, was entered into a random drawing. Three names would be pulled and the winners receive a GRTC tee, custom made and ordered from the GRTC’s online catalog. Over two dozen GRTC members qualified and were entered in the drawing. Our winners are Donald Bigelow, Mary Crowe and Karen Godshall. Each shopped the catalog and their custom order is on its way. Congratulations to Don, Mary and Karen.
