For members who want a MILEStone Patch this year, we switched to a pilot program, gathering the data via RunSignup for 2024 (https://runsignup.com/Race/NY/Rochester/GreaterRochesterRunningClubMILEStonePatchChallenge). If you did not register, but you still want to get a patch, it is not too late. While you can’t signup online, we can manually add you.

For those who want to enter your results with a spreadsheet (or who didn’t sign up in time to enter results throughout the year), use the .csv file (click this link: GRRC MILEStone Patch Log for RunSignup), fill in all the fields for your race results, and save it as a .CSV file with your name for submission of your results. Do not save is as an Excel or other file type. Once you’ve done that, if you’re already registered, you can load it yourself after you click the button/link to submit results. If you can’t figure it out or you aren’t already registered, email it to milestone@grtconline.org no later than January 14, 2025. Please note, if you upload a .CSV file yourself and then add races to the same file, uploading it again, it will result in a duplication of all races you previously uploaded. Please do not do that. If you forgot some races, add them in directly on RSU or create a new file without all the other races in it and load that.

We will open registration for 2025’s MILEStone Patch Challenge after 2024’s is process is completed. It will take some time for our new MILEStone Patch Challenge Chair, Tina Ruhland, and I to finish everything that needs done before renewing the event on RunSignup for the next challenge. The plan would be to have it open by February 1, 2025. However, you can start keeping track with a clean copy of the same spreadsheet, if you’d rather do that than enter data as you go.

Thank you for your time and participation!

Vickey Beaver,
GRRC President
