Here is a list of our top 10 overall female and male finishers for the 2025 Runner of the Year series, and an age group break down as well. Runners who came in 1st through 3rd overall do not also win their age group. This year our 1st place male and female winners are also members of the GRRC Hall of Fame. We have winners between the ages of 10 and 78. There are many people who placed this year who are not members of the club. This could be a sign that word about the Runner of the Year series is growing wider than the club, which is great. Just know that if you do sign up to be a member, you will save money on race fees.
There was also more competition in many of the age groups over the age of 40. I’m thinking of an incentive next year for everyone who gets someone under the age of 40 to complete at least 6 races with them, but I just thought of it today, and haven’t worked out any details yet – just a thought.
